and take me away
Since the joy's been taken,
Out of my day
Let my insides scream
And my soul cry out
Let my heart rip apart,
Because happiness...I doubt
Some people aren't meant to be happy
Some people aren't meant to be loved
I guess I'm in the catogory for,
all of thee above
I try to be strong
But I barely can think
I put down my blade,
and let my pen bleed the ink
But this strong thing I'm doing,
Doesn't last but a while
I've lost the urge to laugh
And no longer can smile
When I close my eyes I dream of brighter days
Let lightning strike,
and take me away...
Author notes
Just lost in thought I guess.
This is also one of my personal favorites because it shows how strong I'm becoming by putting down my razor & letting it all out on paper & no longer myself.

A very real recollection. Once you stop cutting yourself you life with it internally the rest of your life. It's always there in some way, especially at the beginning.
You've articulated this very well.
Good luck in the contest : -
this has wonderful emotion. I have had days where it feels like no one loves me and tha I don't deserve to be loved. I hope that this is a temporary this with you too but thanks for entering.

Wow BEAUTIFULY written fills me with emotions i try to forget... thought i once had...its a curse..
I try to be strong
But I barely can think
I put down my blade,
and let my pen bleed the ink

Wow. The emotion is brilliant. You are a wonderful writer. Then again, those of us going through rough times usually are the best poets. Well done. Hope you doing alright.
