I guess I should have known
He was too good to be real.
He used to take me flying
Bring me up to touch the stars
I thought with him nothing could harm me.
But I was wrong, I have scars.
They say he has x-ray vision
I guess that part is true
He sees straight through a wall
He sees straight through me too.
He is always there when you need him
If there's trouble he is by your side
This part cannot be true though,
Unless I just didn't qualify.
He only has one weakness
But this again cannot not be
He has two harmful weaknesses
One of which must be me.
I drain him of his powers
I don't know how but for some reason I can
Because if not, then there'd have to be
No such a thing as Superman.

I agree with Steph. I don't know if it's about anybody in particular, but now I'm curious! I like the flow and rhythm of this. I love the line:
