What have you become?
Boney hands, with veins.
Skin falling off- thin.
Beautifully thin.
You look in the mirror-
You see beauty,
but you are made of self hate.
You are made of unhappiness.
All you want to be is human again,
no more painful- destruction.
No more hurting yourself.
No more lying, and stepping away.
No more binging- and letting go.
Letting go of your soul.
Only baby steps stop the decay.
Two feet down the path- away, away.
I’ll take your hand…
It is a new morning, sun-shiny happy.
We have the whole world ahead of us-
Carpe Diem, my friend.
I’ll take your hand-
and we, we will seize the day.

I liked the what you have become bit
It could make people stand back and relise what they have become
Brilliant way of doing it
I’ll take your hand-
and we, we will seize the day.
Simple lines like that made it
The intricate beauty you weaved into it made it amazing
Carpe Diem, brilliant
Cleverly used, I'm impressed
Well done, I loved this
Thank you for the entry

I like the Carpe Diem approach to this. It's hard not to lose hope when you start off every day saying this is the day when I'm going to quit. This is a new day. But your'e right, you need someone to hold your hand and help you through it. Some things are too hard to do alone.
