That feeling of solitude,
of being alone
within oneself,
can break a man.
That fine line
between saneness and insanity
blends, causing one
to be lost
even in the midst of others.
Retreating
to a place none can find,
he waits
for he knows not what.
Each day
a repetition
of the previous,
and the same
as the one after.
From this seclusion
there is no escape;
only he can find himself,
but he no longer
remembers who he is.

This write is a proof that indeed solitude is ‘an ally of sorrow…’ this piece is full of heavy sad emotions with its simple yet effective words…thank you for sharing your lovely poem…

Excellent Write!
My, how well thought out and written..It is all so true..Agrophobias, fear of people, starts as one of these symptoms...Granyeri, an excellent definition, and description of the condition and the symptoms.Sad. But a step by step recovery process over alot of time, counselling and medication, is probably needed..But oh, for those who are trapped in this unreality and fear! An excellent and worthy winner of the bronze trophy!

Superb
A marvelous write indeed. In an odd way this reminds me of Henry David Thoreau's: "Walden Pond". Link:

Wow... this has quite an enchanting, eerie feel to it. It is quite powerful and really bold , and even long for some of your writes. Another piece of astonishing work - very well done!
