A Touch to Move Me Forward

I'm craving to see your face
as one seeks knowledge
with the light turned on
but they remain in darkness

as the orange is to the taste
disguised in beautiful bright peeling,
only to be thrown away
just living sunrise to sunset
expectations were never thrown away
