you may have lost the battle,
but you've won the war.
Author notes
I recently realized that Jesus's legs were not broken when he was taken off the cross. So broken has a double meaning here. And the whole poem has a double meaning - it's not just about Jesus, but if we are feeling humans we cal all relate to this poem, and draw tons of inspiration from it. It describes every last person's life on earth who is on the good rather than the evil side.

Strong emotion in so few words. This speaks volumes and with so much heart and spirit.

in your info, you imply that your poetry is meaningless and worthless. emotionless.

Thank you for your entry
Yes we can all relate. We may have been knocked down but God has lifted us up and given us the victory over Satan. Isn't He wonderful.
Good luck
God Bless

Duana! Hi! This is soo good. Such a message in here, it's like I was destined to read this today. I love how you show that we fall sometimes but that doesn't mean we can't still win the race. And that's the thing to remember, we are not broken if we lose that one thing. Thank you so much for the comment you left me, it really brightened me up

Short, but very effective. You don't have to win every single battle to win the whole situation, and wounds heal, and it doesn't matter how long it takes. Good write. whisper

Are you speaking of someone here. Who has problem and are dealing with them. There is hurt in this life, but we have to stand and fight. We may have lost the battle, but we have to continue fighting and we will prevail.
