Nihilo ex nihilo.

Nihilo ex nihilo, and nothing true ever was.

Distant stars sparkle, emitting gaseous poison
Of hope and faith, so foreign to me.
Derive from flowers, beauty and passion
Concepts in this fickle sphere fleeting.

Bestow value upon vaporous ideas
Those that will soon decay
But I fall not under this idiotic spell
And I shall do what I may.

Nihilo ex nihilo, and still, nothing true is.

"Nihilo ex nihilo" is in the book, Grendel. It deals with nihilism- surprise, surprise.

    Interesting poem. Nice description.

"Nothing true is."-----Hmmm, if THAT'S true, then there IS truth out there.

    Good luck in the contest!
