God Doesn't Believe In Atheists

God doesn't believe in atheists
no you just simply don't exist
for my friends, you have religion
it is called atheism
you believe in yourself,
chance, fate and luck
to name just a few
bowing before these gods.

But they are like statues the
religious worship once a week
they can't hear, see or speak
neither can they pull you
out of the hands of demons
as they laugh while they
drag your poor soul to hell.

Laugh at me, I'm in good company

they laughed at Jesus
in fact Jesus said to expect it

and I will be blessed for it

when all He did was love this
world enough to die for it

really hyserical!

I choose to pray for you all
in fact whether you want me

to or not I will pray your eyes be opened

before it is too late......

    Strong

A very strong write that pulls no punches and gives no apologies, straight to the point without frills and that is what it should be. I admire your strength in shouting out your belief.

Well, I'm not laughing... but this doesn't exactly persuade me of the moral or philosophical superiority of a christian ethic. In fact, really the opposite. I've seen more people dragged into a hell circumscribed by bigoted christians than by nefarious insubstantial "demons from hell".

As to the cliche of god not believing in atheists, and atheists having a religion, the argument just doesn't bear up well. What exactly are you suggesting atheists are bowing to? And what is the point of your prayers if god has forsaken them?

Frankly, you'd have made a better argument pointing to a tendency of atheists to reify themeselves in the position of god, pointing to the substantive benefit of belief during times of real trouble, and perhaps suggesting (as does Augustine) that those who wrestle with God are closest to him. As it is, this is simply annoying.

I applaud the sentiment, but insulting people is rarely the best way to win them over.

the poem spreads hate, is consisted mostly of logical fallacies and is wirtten poorly. athiest dont worship anything, we believe what we want, to say we worship something is not only misinformed but also a hasty generalization because the only belief all athiest share is the belief of no god. Go pray to your fairy tale

'they' did a survey on praying for people in hospital; 50% of patients in the survey were prayed for, and 50% were not. The 50% not prayed for got better and the 50% prayed for all died. heheh

This country is the most religious in the western world, being Christian is not exactly swimming against the tide so I don't understand why you would consider this took any courage at all to write.

According to recent polls the only belief a person can hold and not be elected to national office is atheism (agnosticism, humanism)
