complications

WE got in way too deep
To the point where neither of us could sleep
You had a girl but still i popped in
The line between right and wrong is so thin

There was this great trip and we got closer to one another
But at that time we both had our own lover
Then rumours began to fly and my lover began to worry
And people jumped to conclusions in a hurry

We all came back and we were still hangin out
My lover got mad because there was no doubt;
That feelings had been kindled before it was brought to our awareness
Now what feels so good has so much unfairness

THen my lover ended it and soon it was just fine with me
because i started to wonder and asked myself "Could it be?"
Could it be that my feelings are so much more than this
Its weird that you got sumone but we fill each other with such bliss


SO spiring break came and some confessions were said
And it made my head hurt cuz i thought about all dis before i went to bed
Cuz this wasnt supposed to be happening,knowin it would be an issue
But still we could help sayin "i miss u"

So then skool started back & people were filled with suspicion
They'd ask me questions& expect answers right then like i was some magician
So the weeks went on and still deeper things got
And soon it was impossible to undo this knot;

Of a some-what relationship formed behind the scenes of reality
We weren't completely together because in all actuality
You still had a girl who you've been with for a longer duration
But still we're involved,still dealing with these complications

    Wow. This is pretty much what I'm going through ! I took a look at your contest and wow. Yeeeup. All my recent poems have been about this topic. This was incredible.

    Other favorite lines. This poem really stood out to me because I know exactly how this feels. The complications, frustrations, everything. Perfect wording and everything.

    I know how this goes my girlfreind was involved when she started talking to me and then we ended up together but not before a long drawn out affairish thing! Great write

    I didn't wanna read it until you took the unfinished out of the title. but as far as I can see, this is really good. I know what you're talking about, I just don't know who. Yeah I been there and done that, It ain't no joke.
