I could be a lion with his proud flowing mane
But I think the loud roar might just drive me insane

Maybe an elephant as they live a very long time
However Ivory Hunting is such a frightening crime

I might be a turtle, swimming under the sea
But I could die on the sands as just a little baby

Maybe I could be famous for the glamour and gloss
But all my personal privacy would forever be lost

I want to be everything, to know every smile
But everything has bad points, from the Sun to the Nile

So of everything I could ever want to be
I think it’s just wonderful to only be me
