You've broken the heart where you reside
I don't want you anymore by my side.
I can fight against the tide
Of emotion and love.
My love, my passion, my submission
All I bestowed on you.
But your hatred has changed that truth,
And now I'm all new.
I make a strong ground beneath my feet
But the dripping love makes it wet
I can't stand strong
I stumble and lose control over my heart
You are still an inseparable part
That's why you still reside here, in my heart
If not being love...being my past
An eternity will seem short to erase you from me
Still now my heart beats with your love and memory.

It is really a master piece dear Shapla. you delve deep into the depths to write this or I went still deeper...I do not know..memories last for ever..What a thought, eternity is insufficient to erase memory..So true and so deep..I am really proud now to have a poetess sister like you...alas for whom I must be grateful

touchingly sweet
Love of ones past does not dissapear over night, but lingers for quite a spell, Hard to erase at times. Loved this one.

"You are still an inseparable part

These lines were excellent. It's something new I am seeing here!
