The Constant Creator

What is ultimate reality?

there is only one substance,
and it is on a never ending
reformation called evolution...
which is simply the multiplication of variables
(all given factors that take us from
point A (present) to point B (immediate future))...

this would make evolution the constant creator.

I do not believe there is,
a beginning to the universe,
although there is definitely,
a beginning to ultimate reality. ..
the very second life,
with conscious thought existed,
became the very second,
meaning in this world made it's place...

equipped with thoughts and choices,
this allowed for individuality
to experience,
what is ultimate reality...

individuality allows for individual realities
for each life form capable of reasoning...

what is real,
is the ability to question what is real...
to question ones reason for living...
to question anything
and not just accept things for as they are....

interaction between life forms
is a key factor
in the creation of conscious thought.
with conscious thought, came all that is real to us today:
emotions...
desires...
and the ability to learn....

substance has always existed.
it would not have been,
until humans invented the idea of time,
that we would become capable of questioning
when it had been created....
what is real is constantly evolving,
just like everything else in this world...

the idea of God has been created by humans,
with the intentions of keeping well-being
in the future of mankind...
this is why I believe God to be
what is good in all of us,
our conscience...

if God is our conscience,
then God is part of
everything that is real to us...

the way the world really is,
simply,
is the way each individual
perceives it to be
at their present time...
this is why there will never be
one true answer to these
questions in metaphysics...
there are infinite variables,
due to individuality,
that will never allow just one
over-all shared answer....

If there is only one correct answer,
then we would not all be individuals....
we would not have an ultimate reality...

    So very true! Excellent write!

Everyone has their own conception of G.O.D. some think of it as anything that is a higher power form. It varies from person to person I often think of the Christian concept and that in itself is varying although many think of it as only one conception or is it the trinity or is it a grand ole' man with a gray beard and a staff? To some it is God, Gods, Goddess, or both, and then the list goes on and on. The Creator or and is it Mother Earth? Ultimately they are all one as far as I am concerned as you stated it is all one a source of power, and faith all roled into One. I love your writing style it is so intelligent and so spiritual the choice of background using school room notebook paper just sets off the whole scheme of learning and the metaphysic idea. Each of us beings seem to live in our own reality. Blessings...

I've felt before that I understood things. I also knew that there was no possibility of articulating the understanding, and that was part of it, a sort of cosmic joke.
I don't think we have the right tools yet to grasp these things but perhaps for a fleeting moment. Unfortunately I believe most of us can transcend for only a moment, then wander around trying to somehow define it. It is hopeless.
I don't think we'll ever get there if people just give up on the inexplicable, and never write poems like this one.

you're absolutely correct.... some of us may transcend once or twice in our lives... and spend the rest of their life defining such... when i believe it to be almost undefinable...

and the tools needed are of a mentality that are undesirable to the modern man, we're forced into a need/want mentality that is in complete opposition

we are the future mankind's worst enemies

I really like the expression of this philosophical idea in the form of a poem. I do wonder about your use of commas in some places, but it gives it an interesting flow. Definitely some deep thoughts here that I'm glad you shared.

WO. This i pretty deep stuff that you have going on in here. I had to read it a few times to get it all. Sounds like you did a lot of heavy thinking and took a lot of time to put this all together. I liked it but I think my brains so full it might burst. lol I thought you did a good job of expressing yourself here.

well...you strike some really heated topics in this write, as well as a very open minded perspective!

I really enjoyed the part,"I believe God to be
what is good in all of us,
our conscience..." I found this verse to be powerful and almost inspiring... A lot of the time people are really narrow minded when it comes to religion. You, however, are brave to me....because not a lot of people would even touch this issue!!

great write, i like that it actually made me think!!
    thank you for sharing!!

    keep the pen flowing!!!

Though I get what you're saying here, I think there are many "religious" people (especially the fanatics) who would discard everything you wrote as being "atheistic". I believe this to be true, I am a member of an atheist forum (haven't been there in a month though but I doubt they've changed) where even the atheists put up this sort of point-of-view, and the religious people who are trying to change their minds state: you can't have one with the other, they are separate entities .. etc., of course, in reality there's no such thing as an atheist because atheists state: if you can prove it, then I perhaps will believe - which makes them agnostic, rather than atheist.

Anyway, this piece reminded me of that particular discussion at that website.

A good poem that you have written here.

I think the whole false dichotomy of most religions turn alot of smart people off. If a religion generates the perception of good and bad people, it's almost certainly made up (or has been adopted) by a government.

BRAVO on the scientific dance, the light you would share here would lead each to there purpose for a child knows that its important to eat all the red smarties first (matrix?) and at certain times its important to miss all the cracks on the pavement (to keep a stable dimension?) even salva dor dali touched every light post to and from work (to save electricity on all his bright ideas) AND so ponder this, everyone knows people go nuts on a full moon and this is caused by the tides, and yet what shift of the butterfly wing would the sum of water in the mass population of humans and animals cause upon the moon? and further would this shift create the specific energetic key to unlock the fractaled union unto the next? and so i would never leave without my friends...

    Yes!!!

I for one have wrestled endlessly over the existance of a GOD or Creator... My conclusion is similar to your own we create our own reality. Good, Bad, or Ugly.

I think the first stanza would work better without the question at the beginning. Make it a statement, be strong and assertive with that stanza, which was wonderful to read, and presented well. The background was a little distracting in spots, and I found I couldn't read several stazas because it was black font on the dark green grass. Otherwise, this was a joy to read

"(all given factors that take us from

thats definatly my favorite line. interesting how you contact me because of my beliefs but i understand now from the part of god. this was an interestng poem because it was like an incredibly logical rant. i love your use of wording and making the poem more interesting to read by using (, ), :, ect ect... the only thing i saw was the ... are very frequent. i love the part about time. its very true that it is an almost entirely human creation. nice write though

    I’m learning to accept
You can’t have what you want
    Through failures, through lies
    Through disappointment, through cries
    Yes, I know
What’s meant to be, will find a way
But I can’t deny my insides
I can’t let my emotions run and hide

    I want what I can’t have
And it’s tearing at my insides
I want what is not an option
And now I’m reaping its loss
    I don’t deserve what I want
And I know why, but won’t see
I’ll never have what I need
    Because I’m me, me, me

Screw the rhyme, it’s my time
To lay the story out, and let you know how I feel
    Failure knocks
    One, two, three
    Still echoing in my ear
I must face, that what I want, is the cause of my disgrace
And though you still linger here
    Mentally, physically, emotionally
    I can never be close
    I can never feel
    I can never be with
    You

    best part =]

Wow. This is some poem that you have going on in here! I really like it. It was kind of hard to read though because of the backround. The background is really pretty and I could see why you want to use it but I think it disturbs the reading of your poem. Maybe you could bold it or something. The poem was pretty heavy too. It seems like you've really put a lot of thoughts and logic into it and it really shows.

There are definitely some good existential thoughts here, but somehow it seems more like a paper than a poem- there isn't a lot of imagery (neither sensory nor emotional) and there doesn't seem to be a meter or rhythm. Anyway, that's not necessarily a bad thing- poems don't always have to fit into a category- it's just a much different way of doing things.

I tend to agree on your thoughts, though... thinking about evolution and time and creation and God... it's a big job, someone has to do it.
