Staring over my shoulder
Into a world of color
That I create, separate
Yet unable to match
That work of art
Which watches as I move
Pencil poised, can't think
I know you're watching
And I see those orbs
That befuddle the mind
Losing myself in pools
Of coffee brown art
A photo can not match
Or even catch the beauty
That I see shining through
As you're watching
Forever watching
My brushstrokes on the canvas
Those eyes painting my sole
With envy, because never
Never will I paint such glory
But I'll lose myself in them again
Author notes
Option #2-7. Lost.
This is about a friend of mine who has the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen in my life. I can't even describe how pretty they are. The world's greatest artists could never make something so beautiful, if that gives you any idea. So I hope you like this poem!

Wow. I really like this. If you're referring to who I think you're referring to, then I think you captured it perfectly. Of course, you could have been writing about somebody completely different. Oh well, the world will never know...unless I ask you...and I am.
