It seems we all have trials we must face
With God's help we overcome with courage and grace
My thoughts and prayers are with you everyday
Also with your family as by your side they lovingly stay
How does one express what is in their hearts
What can one do when a friend's life is coming apart
You and I have not known each other long
Yet our friendship has become strong
With your friendship I have been truly blessed
I feel in God's hands I have been gently caressed
So now I gladly give my prayers and love
As I pray to our loving Father above
That you are given the courage and hope
And the strength with which to cope
In my heart I feel the Lord will not walk away
But by your side he will faithfully stay
