Just watch as she screams in pain
Laugh as she goes insane
Her tainted blood starts to stain
Let it tell its story, let it explain
Just watch as the days collapse
Tears of pain as she finally snaps
A story unfolds as the seconds lapse
Yet her heart and soul is still trapped
Just watch as her dreams fall apart
The scars on her body were her expressive art
How they demonstrated her shattering heart
A hidden secrecy of how she could not restart
Just watch as the razor severs her skin
With so much pain -- where should she begin?
Times have been so much better than they have been
No one will know what she held within
Just watch as her soul decays
She will be gone by tomorrow's yesterday
The people -- They shout, they scream, they say:
Her actions... They were just a phase

Teenage runaways aren't poetic, they aren't even tragic. Most people will congratulate this sort of thing because they don't want to be responsible for your suicide. They will say things like "wow thats really intense" but they are really thinking RUBBISH. You want to be a poet? get over yourself. You want to be a cutter? You'll never reach the depths of despair that breathe (not bleed) poetry onto pages.

Such emotion and truth love. So much.
Just a phase, dont worry she isnt
in that much pain.
Shrug her off as emo or goth,
give her pills for a month,
let her have her pouts.
Yell at her for being a typical
teen,
She's too young, how can
she know what love means?
The tattoos mark the tears,
the worries and the engulfing
fears.
But all they see is disgust
and turn away,
They forget you wont be
alive later today.
Afterall, shes just going
through another craze.
