I got up today, the sky so blue
I have been since these clouds rolled through
this week, the clouds were so thick
is my head and I feel so terribly sick.
I went for a drive, the sky so blue
I was when I left to visit you
see the odd shaped trails that pass for clouds
my mind and dulls the senses, taming crowds.
Strange formations over the last few years
ago we didn’t have these cloudy fears
for my health run rampant through my head
aches and pains, my energy these clouds have bled.
When the sky is so blue and clear
my mind, so I can function, have no fear
is what has grabbed me, opened my eyes
are on the sky and the clouds of lies.
Author notes
And now for something completely different!!! Some of the things I see in the sky baffles me sometimes and the excuses of what it really is. (This poems depends on how you read it, the last word in line 1,2, and 3 of the stanza becomes the first word of next line.)
