It was really a little more than I could stand,
This pink hairy creature who wouldn't stop
With that piercing voice and smooth-soft skin,
It was more than I should have to endure;
I have no genitalia, after all.
Why do I bother
Marking their cornfields, flying low,
Why do I bother
Getting their attention
If all they do is scream and scream and scream?
And is it any wonder, after all,
That we hardly ever visit,
When they try to shoot at us with their pesky "guns"
And "missiles" and "diseases?"
Don't they want to meet someone new?
Don't they like the instruments we examine them with?
Don't they like the fact
That we're trying to figure out if they're healthy?
A foreign object in the rectum can't be all that bad.
And is it any wonder, I implore,
That we leave, like, quickly,
That we abandon them in forests,
Letting them kill each other
And themselves,
Letting them grind their own race
Into the ground?
Is it any wonder that we don't care?
After all, they sure don't.
