[ I give to you, my heartfelt words, ]

I give to you, my heartfelt words,
of sympathy and comfort.
For I too have lost another,
I stand with you when distraught.
We who are left behind,
must watch them on their way.
even if we cry our tears
of immense sorrow and pain.
Just think of it as a opening,
their life doesn't physically end.
and of your heart breaking,
the breaks will always mend.
Though,
though that person never leaves you,
and are always in your heart,
please remember my words of comfort,
you are never truly apart.

    Yes, so true...

When you love someone and they go to Heaven, you still love them and they are always part of you, forever! A beautiful poem, filled with such loving thoughts! Thank you!

i love the way this resembles an urn in a way. Thank you for the comforting words and compassion i feel within this write. Every day i come back to read a new poem posted in this contest my heart is slowly being consoled. I know that your write and the many others here will help comfort my cousin in her grief. Thanks again. God Bless and good luck in the contest.
