Nine years
feels like an eon,
of missing you,
of never seeing your handsome face,
of not hearing your warm laughter
Nine years
without your love,
without your guidance,
without your support,
it's difficult to comprehend
I don't know why
and I don't want to know why,
I have accepted that you aren't here,
that it is was your wish
for that forever absence
Nine years
has lost most memory of you,
but I'll never forget the words,
"I love you with all of my heart",
and now I have your words on my wrist
Forever,
your words are there
and I will remember what is true

A very emotional write. I like the following stanza most:
