beautifully written, Debby. I especially love the last stanza; the image itself, that is, of dancing with lilies, is almost utterly absurd, but then, in the context, it makes perfect sense. This is the classic dogma vs. kerygma; the irrational vs. the rational. The imagery only make sense when you simply try to experience it.

If you're going to have this poem in the feature box you might want to warn people that it is a religious poem, perhaps in parenthesis after the title. Personally, I don't care to read this type of poem so I can't give a good critique, and I know some others feel the same. -

Exquisitely Beautiful Truth
Our Father and Christ are all we need and you have wonderfully conveyed that in this glorious piece praising our Saviour, Sis. I especially identify with the line "I dance with the lilies." Made me think of the Trillums in abundance in Betty's gardens this year, the lilies I told you about the other day.
Once again, excellent writing exemplifying a talent truly used for the most perfect purpose: our awesome Creator and His Christ. I did notice a typo in this line: "substained me; saved me" where I think you really meant "sustained." LOL! Sometimes we just have those days, don't we? LOL!

When I was writing this.. I could feel myself dancing.. this piece is a celebration , a psalm, a praise to my beloved Savior.. I have always wanted to dance while praising and have done so many times... Oh yeah, I love my Lord !!!!!
