The Bliss of Love

Softly you speak
And my senses come alive

I feel my heart race
As I look into your eyes,

Your impish smile
Tells me all I need to know

And as we embrace,
Your face begins to glow.

Put on that music
You like so very much

And tell me again
How you enjoy my touch,

For it gives me great pleasure
To pleasure you,

So let us indulge one another
With passion’s cue.

    Congrats on the honorable mention trophy. I like that you used the picture... not so much what you did with the colors but no matter... I'm not all too sure how this can be picture inspired if it has been entered in so many other contests, but alright. This was a fine piece, pretty well written.

    Heart Stirring

    It's touchingly gentle and beautiful. It stirs my senses and as a widow,revives special memories of my own Any form of writing, if it produces an evocative response in the reader has been well worth doing. Thankyou for the pleasure of reading this
