Poetry that will completely take you out of this world
Every word you read has such meaning
Reading her work is an honor to me
Finding I can relate to
Everything that's written down.
Complicated forms or completely free verse
They're no challenge for a poet like Wendy.
I'm left speechless everytime I finish that last line
Made to perfection, just like herself!
Pretty little stanza's or dark, emotional verse
Everything she writes is written with care
Ranting or crying, love or total anger
Feelings that are hard to find written down elsewhere.
Everybody knows her, and everybody loves her
Creations that inspire everyone, I'm sure
The perfect wife and successful loving mother
I couldn't ask for a better aunt!
Only I can say for sure, there's
No other aunty that I could love more!

Written for my amazing AP aunt, PerfectImperfection She's so amazing, she's really helped me along on AP. Nobody else has inspired me and willed me on as much as Wendy, and I really don't think this poem does her justice, but it's exactly what I wanted to say

You really are talented, y'know? I can't write form/rhymed poetry to save my life. Just unfettered words, spilling onto a page, that's all I ever manage.
This is very sweet, and poetry (in my mind) is the best tribute one can give to a friend.
