Sunshine feels fine
On this icy skin of mine
Bright light into the night
birds singing late on
I look out the window for
the beautiful dawn.
On with the shorts
sun tan and shades.
Schools out kids shout
summer time is here.
Mowing the lawn carrying on.
Water fights late at night.
Butterfly's in your hair
Bumble bees every where.
Rocking in my favorite chair
Watching the sun go down.
Beautiful colors every where
No time for sorrow or despair.
Holidays swimming in the sea
family together with you and me.
Sand in between your toes.
Ice cream up your nose.
Little kids crying for a sleep
time for a nap into bed we creep.
On this icy skin of mine
Bright light into the night
birds singing late on
I look out the window for
the beautiful dawn.
On with the shorts
sun tan and shades.
Schools out kids shout
summer time is here.
Mowing the lawn carrying on.
Water fights late at night.
Butterfly's in your hair
Bumble bees every where.
Rocking in my favorite chair
Watching the sun go down.
Beautiful colors every where
No time for sorrow or despair.
Holidays swimming in the sea
family together with you and me.
Sand in between your toes.
Ice cream up your nose.
Little kids crying for a sleep
time for a nap into bed we creep.
