Here's to a world filled with love and with hate.
Where nothing is controlled it's left up to fate.
Here's to a world where laughter and love are overflowing.
Into an ocean where only hatred is showing.
Here's to a thousand lies melting into one.
and no one knows where they came from.
Here's to children playing in the park.
Where hours earlier junkies shot up in the dark.
Here's to soldiers going off to die.
While back in Washington the politicians are thinking up another lie.
Here's to the the reality that is my life.
a mixed up jumble of happiness and strife.
Here's to video games providing hours of fun.
and children getting fat because they forgot how to run.
Here's to freedom of speach giving us the right.
To say what we will whether it's left wing or right.
Here's to a world where fairies dust won't make us fly.
But Angels dust is a sure way to die.
Here's to a world where people protest abortion.
Then blow up the clinics with their bombs of distortion.
Here's to the roar of the crowd as they chalk up another win.
But the game's hero is hated for the color of his skin.
Here's to a world where to the winner goes the spoils.
And blood is worth less then oil.
Here's to the seperation of church and state.
To bad George can't keep that straight.
Here's to elections in all their glory.
Where politicians sling mud and make up stories.
Here's to government spending billions on foriegn aid.
While our own homeless can't get a job or even get paid.
Here's to our right to vote.
We elected a President that can't even spell "goat".
Here's to a world that dreams of world peace.
But in reality we all know this violence will never cease.
Here's to a world where conformity rules.
Filled with millions of money hungry fools.
Here's to a world where we're all treated equal and fare.
Except for the rich who refuse to share.
Here's to a world where they all know your name.
Trying to be different but ending up the same.
Here's to a world with a happy ending.
But in truth the outcome is still pending.
Here's to the love that marrige can bring.
except for those who are gay, they're denied a ring.
Here's to the persuit of happiness except for those who say.
Those dam civil rights they just get in the way.
Here's to politicians each with their own solution.
But we still have murder, rape and don't forget the prostitution.
Here's to jails overflowing with crooks.
and here's to conservatives out burning books.
Here's to things made in the U S of A.
To bad our cars come from the Tokyo Bay.
Here's to the buisness man wearing his new suit.
And here's to the poor man who goes out to steal and loot.
Here's to retirement and getting that gold watch.
To bad medicare will soon drop another notch.
Here's to priorities so completly messed up.
And here's to the begger as he holds out his cup.
Here's to equal education in all schools.
But some teachers have to buy thier own tools.
Here's to firefighters so incredibly brave.
Layoffs is what the government gave.
Here's to inflation and it's steady upward drive.
How the hell can a single mother live off $5.35 ?
And here's to the outspoken.
With out them we'll never fix what is broken.
