Cool streaks on Heated flesh
Warm, wet, air
Bright flush of red upon her cheeks
Soft, hot, breeze
Hot streaks upon the flush
Mix cool drops
Salt trails racing to the ground
Quiet Whispers
Nights to remember
Boxes to open
Days to feel Again and Again
Swimming and singing
Dancing and running
Feeling but dying
Stopping to Live
"Living fast or dying slow"
That's the choice we're given
Knowing or feeling
That's the price we pay
Why do we live this way?
I'm skating by on Lost endeavors
Clinging to fictitious hope
Letting go seems far too simple
Yet my screaming mind won't
Fated for the greatest treasure
Far too real in my mind's eye
Breaking walls and Building people
For the far-set day in white
On the door-step
In cool showers
Hearts lay open
Fate will Seal
Serene frustration floats within me
Loving, giving no such joys
Mazes of obscure reactions
Hold their captives bleach-white bones
This is my life's endeavor
This is my Only prayer

Wonderfully reflective and thought provoking ,life is indeed not as simple as we would like it to be ,but if it were would we find it interesting enough ? We can dwell on the past and make light of the futuer but we only ever really live for the present

Sad poem...but alot of it so true...some are words of depression...releasing of feelings...but life can be like this if you vocus only on these points...thanks for sharing
