Cream in my coffee

my coffee life
sprinkled
with sweet-and-low strife

but then the sweetest cream
splashed
down in streams

it exploded in clouds
sending
my unwanted memories into shroulds

and just to put sugar on top

asure

me that your love won't stop

Please tell me what you think

Great poem, very original. ...... Remind me... Where'd you get that coffee metaphor again? .... I have some guesses, but I'm not sure.... Hehe...

Hey, thanks for the comment. It's helped me quite a bit. This was a very pleasant poem; I liked the metaphor too! Good job with conveying that lightheartedness...

I like it, it's simple, but highly creative, some nice imagery, and a nice rhyming scheme with it too. Very relaxed feel, well done,

Great write. Using coffee as a metaphor was really cool. I guess you must care a lot for the person you wrote this for.
