She comes home from school that day
Walks into the house
Wears the shades to hide her eyes
And tears she holds back
In to wash off all the make up
That soap and water burns her eyes
She thinks of what she witnessed
Caught in the midst of it all
He lays on his bed
Speachless and scared
Him and her share it in common
The death brought from foes they fear
Next day they sit on the ground
Share the memories they had with their friend
Crying together, laughing together
Now, it's all gone
