but where is the musician to play the music with loving care
My heart longs to dance to the rhythmic beat
My feet know the steps, my heart knows the pace
I just long for the music to start,to take place
The melody is so sweet and beautiful to an empty ear
I long to hear it so crystal clear
Where is the musician that plays my love song
The one who has magical hands that last all night long
with long slim fingers that glide across the heartfelt keys
such sweet sounds could bring an angel to their knees
But there is no sound not a single tune is to be heard
There is no music for this blue bird
My hearts lost and longing for the music to my lovers song
I know the words and notes but with music they belong
The words were written a long time ago
the notes were carefully placed upon the weathered
paper they show
My feet long to dance to the beat for the rest of eternity
oh where is the musician that plays my love songs melody
