twisting on a rope:
my own intenstines strangling me.
heart casting more blood,
with each PaDum PaDum beat.
dark fairie lights dance,
before my fading sight.
streams of tears drying,
pink from dilution in blood.
past evils of mine,
swimming in mental mirror.
I cannot bring myself to pray,
even for salvation.
revenge has been served:
as cold as I am turning,
blue lips, fingers and soul.
I try to speak and fail,
gurgle of blood and sound escapes.
hands blistered from trying,
to climb from my purgatory;
knees scraped to the bone,
from begging mercy to my avenger;
pants wet in shame,
covering my tool of wicked crime.
pain gives way to numbed darkness,
mental smile in relief,
as I pass from this world;
to be replaced with further tortures,
surpassing those of earth,
as I pass into hell.
Author notes
This is my idea of what some sexual predators might experience if given over to the family and loved ones of their victims rather than the penal system.
I know this is not my normal write, but I was challenged by this contest to write the darkest possible for me, and I think this is it and yet...

WOW! This is, to say the least, a very powerful write. Each line seemed to carry one further and further into the darkness. I truly enjoyed this one.

this is awesome. Really, really powerful and evilly gripping. I like the view very much and i like the thought behind it. Personally, sexual predators irritate the shit out of me......so this brought a smile to my face
