Sitting in class
Scribbling little hearts
With your name in the centre

Little scribbles along the side
Things like ‘I love you’
Appear in front of my eyes
It was only just a minute ago
When you wrapped me in your arms
It only lasted for a second
But to me it felt like a lifetime
Your cute little smile
The warmth of your chest
Your strong arms
The tickle of your breath
But the moment we broke away
I immediately felt cold
And when you left I felt alone
Nothing is as far away as one minute ago
Sitting in class
Now playing anywhere but here:
We’re sitting down by the sea
In the sand
Under a sky of pink and purple
And rapidly spreading stars
We’re sitting there by the sea
And you're kissing me.

Aw, this is such a lovely poem. The first stanza was amazing, and "nothing is as far away as one minute ago," really got to me. Cute poem.
