Seasons came and went
Without affecting me
I was free like a sky
Wondered without fear
You brought spring in my life
Our love blossomed like a rose
Red, fresh and attractive
We never thought it will ever end
With the passing of time
Our love started decreasing
As if moving from the Rose
To the green leaves below it
Still we hoped for return of spring
We had tolerance for each other
We fought but returned again
We were in the real world now
Autumn came in our love life
Unbearable to tolerate each other
Now even the leaves fell off
Love moved to the level of thorns
Who enjoys thorns in love?
When we are still young
We world is full of options
We moved in opposite directions
Now it was time to analyze
We were not even on the ground
We had reached to roots level
With no desire to surface again
Author notes
Intensity of love decreases with time
Please tell me what you think

This is a very enjoyable poem to read.
Although sad in theory, very nicely written with creativity.
Easy to follow - while getting caught up in the drama.
Lots of imagery to paint vivid pictures for the mind's eye.
Well done.

I do agree with you my friend..this is a life and this life teaches us through so many ways and so many incidents as well..your poem here is depicting the depth of this great philosophy and it has touched its height to convey your message...a wonderful poem...

I love the imagery here...comparing love to full bloom, and blooms falling then leaves, the colors of autumnn leave, and all that is left is the roots...Sadly it is like a dying....Sadly, love can slowly go if we are not alert to see the signs..Lovely written, and emotional
