I was sweet and innocent
When I came to you.
Naive, if you will
To the whims of the world.
I came to you as a Lady must,
For the men in my life to mold me.
To teach me what a Lady of true stature acts.
To be modest and polite.
And now as I look back,
To be a porcelain doll to collect dust.
For I lusted and succumed
To a man with the silkened hand.
A Rogue, if one will call Him.
And in his embrace i have found my true self.
