By the light of the Louisiana moon
many types of creatures will awaken soon
Laying still in the water mistaken for a log
but with eyes that glow yellow in the misty fog
On the banks of the dark murky bayou
danger is waiting to make a meal of you
Night birds are making eerie shrieking sounds
pulse rates quicken as hearts begin to pound
No place to be lost on a dark spooky night
even if the moon is out and shinning bright
Bad things can happen in the blink of an eye
only witnessed by the stars up in the dark sky
Beauty of the bayou better seen during the day
long before dark creatures come out to play

SO BEAUTIFUL!
I could see the dark, murky waters with something swimming in them and the night sounds so errie.
