Love
was just
a word said
but never felt.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Spoken freely but
not with much sincerity,
language with no clarity,
from tongues of habit.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
My heart wishes
to just once
know true
love.

Hate
present
each day is
so slow to kill.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Dying piece by piece,
an inner selfs outer shell,
crumbled as this lady fell
- bitter and broken.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
My soul wishes
nevermore
to feel
hate

You've been Hoodwinked!
A beautiful illustration of love and hate. You portrayed love without going mushy, and hate without sounding stupid. I love it! The dashes (or whatever they're called) were helpful in separating the groups of words. Your flow was dead on, and the picture really looked good too. A great write!

I love the flow of this.. and how you have written it out, the spaces and ~~~ etc.
and I can relate well to the feeling.
Great picture also, it fits well with your words.

Standing Ovation!
Lori ~
This is most impressive ~
The message speaks volumnes and
the picture is splendid ~
As far as the Form goes....well......
if I ever croak, I want you to have it ~
You show great entusiasm for perfecting the Arkquain and
I have stood in awe at each one you have penned ~
You have the ability to see the words placed into this form
before you even get to the next line....
....that takes a heck of a lot of talent to do that ~
There is nothing to critique about this write ~
The message truely is a piece of Art in itself ~
You have outdone yourself with this Sis ~
The best to you in this contest....
.....and hopefully it will win the GOLD....
....truely deserving ~
Brother Bear ~

I'm getting quite addicted to your form, ya know! I actually have written a couple more pieces, just haven't posted them yet, but when I do, you'll be asked for your feedback again!

Wonderful
This is so unique and sounds a lot like haiku, or the eastern poetry. Very nice and I am very impressed!
