Eyes of hope sparkle in the night,
see dreams come true in the light.
Having faith, if only we dare,
find happiness waiting out there.
Beacon comes within us to shine,
giving strength, from one so divine.
He gives us power and his grace,
gives comfort in whatever we face.
Life is not measured in time on earth,
but by all the love you are worth.
Count all your blessings, my dear friend,
all those loved ones, you can depend.
Grasp that impossible dream,
wish upon that golden moonbeam.
Ignite courage amid our strife,
burn bright eternal flame of life.

I am not a spiritual person at all, and I'm not sure if there are any religious or spiritual undertones in this poem, but it seems like it. I have trouble relating to poems like this because i don't really believe in god, but this isn't bad. one suggestion: if you're gonna rhyme a whole bunch, try and rhyme words that don't rhyme easily. -
