I see a million places,
and I see just one,
I see all the children
gathered round to learn
and I see all the farmhand
hanging round to get smokes
what's going on?
I see a million pictures,
I see you loving me,
and I see the quaint barn
where you made sweet love to me
and I see your old hand
squeezing mine from
time to time
and I see our legs entwined
from now til the end of time
I see a thousand things,
in this picture you present
and I hope you accept it
as something
you may not have thought of
but as something that is genuine,
real beyond belief,
that the motion of tomorrow
can't take from today's grief....
