portraits of my pet

Glass-Like-Girl,

I'm offering you many curly lettuces
that looks like a portion of ripples
on water when it splashes in the air
for boomerang.

My green leaf stands for fast growth,
your wings have crystals the color
of waves on rivers bridging over you
in my brain...

To me, the gift I gave you on Sunday
represents algae foamed on to a lake
that birds might flicker featherings
in a glance...

Come one, Glass-Like-Girl, get on my
fingers to then go walk on vegetable
bubblewrap that was shipped from the
aqua pond sink

      Oh'll, that was sweet

Thank you for noticing that this isn't of the norm, yet you find it interesting for silver! This was written long ago and is my third poem; when I entered your contest I wanted to fill in your entries with something I thought worked with prewrites being allowed. And, for thirty people to have participated it makes it more of a rare treasure to have been put in such placing! And, although I did like this poem, I wasn't whispering to myself, "is [this] going to win!?"

I enjoyed the contest inspiring me to send something which became worthy,

    momenhts writtenh downh

Circles (I almost started that with an s...),

"portraits of my pet" reminds me of somebody and we spell it the same way, dashes and everything. To top it off, its about a bug and the same type...

Your first stanza is reminiscent of when there's a delay she meticulously sets up in taking the feed, so we stay and make discoveries and end up speaking the ideas that at least soothe with voice for her to go towards it sometimes; but the right time is qwhen there'as a win there. You brought out exuberance and not boredom in it being fiddled with for later almost through the comparison to a splishing that "boomerang"s.

your next one is so involved as to value the outcome, matching the munch to the packed energy from a frest first use in the food chain, which is protected as a pet or :
"your wings have crystals the color
of waves on rivers bridging over you
    in my brain..."
nice jump of thinking I saw --

quite powerful for a little girl in the third section I thought. How the grasshopper can experience its food with a viewpoint of passing over a wide range for a bite dive like its prey would to other areas, interesting tug of oh oh happiness.

The conclusion had good imagery to chuckle over and consider how this could keep being fun by demonstrating you want it to be as its thought provoking quite a bit of the time not automatic turns!

I am going to generate my ha-ha without hands supposedly clapping but points.

2:11 wondering if you'll be writing also about grass on the hill sandals, straw platform thongs playtime! PA! all the girls in the family are talking about [a term of yours somewhere] like a walk on the hay>>>> that can be fallen off and barefoot down isn't good with a sprained ankle so espadrille the search lol. roped in like we know definitely finding about natural less in t e n s e aspirin work.
    ~Mamma I should say

This is a very sweet and personal take of this picture.
On the second paragraph you have &...
Maybe make it to where it's like
" My green leaf stands for fast growth,
your wings have crystals the color "
Then you won't have to worry about that symbol being there.
It's just a suggestion, overall this is a wonderful write
I appreciate the time you took with this.
The best of luck in the contest.
    Kari
