It is the only thing that cures Life
when it becomes a problem.
When do we decide
a revolution too many;
a round made in excess?
Remembering the times,
your forgetting all the details
when they were all that mattered.
I have a suggestion:
Mix hope and hatred,
love and loss,
stir and set to flame.
The colors it will make!
Reading off names,
where do I start?
As a figure in the dark
calculating variables;
making a mockery
of the divine.
Blessed are those
who have never seen
or saught
the Perfect Solution.
For everything,
an end does not signal resolve
and only in a world gone mad
could we model it an answer.
Author notes
I was in a debate about suicide, and somebody said "The only thing death cures is life and life is not the problem." It just kind of stuck.

I'm sorry - this piece is longer than twenty lines, so it won't win here. Best of luck in future contests.
I do like that line in your author notes, though.

This is controversial....
I like that.
This poem is really really well written. It's paced excellently. And the ideas expressed are just clear enough for the reader to get a glimpse. Of what you are writing here. The author comments really helped explain a lot of the holes that I found. And so that's alright. There is effective use of your title, because it compels the reader to keep going. It's a nice vision that is created in this.
"An end does not signal resolve
and only in a world gone mad
could we model it and answer."
Those are words to live by. Thanks for entering my contest. Good luck.
