I want to make a difference in the world,
I want to touch millions of hearts.
All I need to know,
Is where do I begin to start?
A girl named Rachel,
Made it easy for me.
I will show the world,
I will make you all see.
When one begins to fall,
Dont leave them behind to fall alone.
All it takes is a few words,
And they can feel at home.
Rachel showed us a path,
Thats so easy to take.
Just show a little kindness,
It wont be a mistake.
I too have fallen, once long ago,
I was left behind to fall alone.
I felt so lost,
Like I had no home.
But Rachels words, touched our hearts,
I was helped to my knees.
She helped us learn,
She let us see.
Give your hand,
Just for a moment would do.
And you'll feel the happiness,
Washing over you.
You'll give someone kindness,
And get some in return.
It was Rachel's lesson,
That helped us learn.
Treat others like people,
For we all need a friend.
Its not too late to give up,
Its not yet the end.
Help someone up,
Dont leave them to fall alone,
Just lending your hand,
Would lead them home.
Reach out, lend your hand,
Rachel gave you the path,
That would help you stand.

Yes I remember seeing the presentation that
inspired this write from you. A very beautiful
poem you have penned here.
I love these lines:

This question is one that we should all stop
and ask ourselves. Not just today, but every
day of our lives. If we all had this much
compassion and motivation, the world would be
a much happier and beautiful place to live in.

A person, especially one my age, can only do so much. But if you were to have more, age put aside, the world would be more the paradise many of us so desperately wish it to be.
