The days are short,
The darkness closes in fast.
The air crisp and cold,
Reminds me of my past.
Landing in soft drifts,
Snow sprinkles down.
White crystals sparkle,
This is winter's gown.
Memories of simple times,
Revisiting your bliss.
The world about you shimmering,
With winter's frozen kiss.
