Transmission from Lethargia

This whole day has meant nothing to the world
I've done nothing, said nothing, been nothing
Bored holes in my eyes with a TV set
But I refuse to let it go to waste
I'll build a rocket, mentally of course
And blast off to the planet Earth tonight
Maybe I'll see an Earthling on the way
It's been so long, I forgot how they looked
But then again, that is a lot of work -
I'll put it off until another day

Author notes

Blank verse on boredom.

    I liked this one

It's just how I feel sometimes. Isn't it lovely that we human beings can share feelings like this, it makes me feel I belong!
