A mouse, a mouse is in this house!

One fine day in the Adams' house,
All was quiet except for...a mouse!
It had squeezed its way in through a hole in the wall
Even though this hole was terribly small!

The little mouse who was very discreet
Thought, "I may as well have a bite to eat."
He looked to make sure no-one was there
He saw it was clear but was quite unaware...

Mrs Adams was feeling very ill
So she'd gone to the doctor with her husband, Bill
They'd been gone for an hour or maybe a few
It was now half-past one, and they'd be back by two!

The mouse didn't know he had so little time
So when, he reached a wall he began to climb
He ascended the wall with such great ease
To find on the top, was a slab of cheese!

He ate and he ate and he ate galore
The cheese was gone, but he wanted more
He jumped off the top and onto the floor
Then he crawled along until he came to a door

The door was very slightly ajar
So the mouse went through to find something bizarre!
On the floor in the corner was a pile of trash
And the mouse was over there in a flash!

He dived in the pile to find something out...
It wasn't trash so he had some doubt
"Do I eat or not, that is the question,
Will I be left with indigestion?"

He decided to risk it and chewed through a seal
And something fell out that was quite ideal
"Chocolate, chocolate a curious food,
All funny and sticky and strangely hued"

The mouse thought he was too exposed
So he scurried to the telly where he was enclosed
He bit through the chocolate wrapper and ate the insides
"What a glorious feeling this chocolate provides!"

The mouse crawled out from under the telly
With chocolate and cheese filling its belly
"That's that, I'm full" thought the much larger mouse
As it searched for a way out of the house

Just then he heard a crash and a bang
As the door opened with a rather loud clang
A woman walked in, coffee billowing steam
And let out a very loud ear-splitting scream

"A mouse! A mouse! A mouse in this house!"
She yelled and yelled, and in ran her spouse
"I'll get it, I'll get it, don't worry dear!"
But even he was frozen with fear

The mouse, on hearing all of these cries
Decided to scarper, he was very wise!
He ran out through another door
And skidded and slided all over the floor

Lucky for him, the son had arrived
And he'd opened the front door really wide
The mouse skidded quickly to a halt
And escaped before he had to suffer assault!

He ran and ran and ran all day
But it didn't matter anyway
He'd escaped and that was all the mattered
It was worth it, for he was definitely fatter!

what a very funny read i could picture the mouse through your words, with his very fat tummy you could make this into a small childrens book with little pictures
