Behind ocean green windows,
Her soul lies somewhere.
Shutters not opened,
But he can still see.
Right to her heart,
Where his love lands.
Deep inside the locked room,
Her memories hide.
Somehow he got through.
No lock was broken,
And a shadow of a doubt still remains.
Can it really be?
A whole world,
Does he know what he’s getting into?
Her world is so different from the things
That she lets on.
A dream world,
With only her and her loved ones.
The sweet sound of the creeks nearby,
The soft smell of wild roses.
Swaying trees.
And crackling late night fires.
Does he realize that’s what she desires?
And for him to be there next to her.
Happily.
That’s how she needs to live.
Loving him until the end of days.
Her dreams have many angles.
Roses floating in water,
Candles burning brightly.
Shining stars,
With just a sliver of moon.
The sun all surrounded by blue.
Pure skies,
Gorgeous, lush grass.
Soft under foot is sand,
White and warm.
Splashing waves rolling out to sea.
Cliffs rise high above the ground.
She’s like the sea and sky.
Free as a bird,
Swimming like a fish,
Deep in the water.
Not wanting the pictures to leave,
All she can do is write.
Pouring her soul on paper,
Not wanting anyone to see.
She wants to share her dreams.
Will the world ever understand?
