I fall from a world,
of pure fun and imagination.
I rarely believe in something real,
for my life is fiction.
I tried to fall in love for real,
but life can be tough.
I turn to my fictional life,
and live there until I awaken.
Dreams of adventure and love,
fade with morning alarms.
I saw him,
but only in my dreams.
My life when I'm awake is so-so,
but when I dream I'm alive.
The scenes of peace,
and the magic of love.
I live in my fictional dreams,
but I exist here.
School classes day in and day out,
and pressures of finding a summer job.
I fall again and again,
between dream and life.
So can someone please catch me,
and show me what real love is.
Catch me,
and maybe I'll finally feel like this is home.
So somebody had better catch me,
before I decide to ask someone else.
