I used to have a pretty garden
but now it's dead as dead can be
we have a water shortage here you see
and I would be heavily fined
if I were to dare water it
so sadly I had to sacrifice
my plants and lawn
to the Nursery God in the Sky
I hope my many sacrifices
are rewarded
These plastic plants
are just not the same

I chose option 3. Good luck all

Oh how I can relate to this one
Things are so dry here also. Very well done

Good write. This makes me think of quite a few summers ago when my mother gave up on her garden which she worked on for years and one summer she just lost interest in it and let all the plants die out. Maybe I should suggest plastic flowers to her. Anyway, good write. Good luck in the contest.
