My summer garden's filled with weeds
bursting forth from last year's seeds.
I go to battle, armed with tools!
These wily weeds are no one's fools!
With roots and runners, they expect...
in just one month, to resurrect!

Summer Gardening is a great thing. I enjoy it so much, my grandmother does especially. Although, going to battle with weeds is no fun and games That's about the only thing that I cannot stand about gardening...there are those nasty weeds. But anyways...All the other labor is just so worth it. I love gardening tomatoes, they are really good! I think this poem makes people want to get out in the garden and work, work, and work to get those plants going! Flowers are nice to plant too, although I prefer vegetables. You did great!!!!!
