A quiet and stillness came upon me
and I pondered the weary end of day,
embers in the hearth glow and fade
as if breathing; and the night whispers.
So I reach for more and deeper rest
in candlelight flickering its solitary dance:
Embracing invisible wafts of wind;
Tracing artful joy in the air of whispers.
Thoughts turn inward, I see your eyes
and walk into shadows of wanting.
I find myself speaking your name
feeling your breath on my face.
There, among breathing embers and dancing candlelight,
wafting shimmers of air over shadows of my thoughts;
You echo unto this sweet and gentle stillness,
softly your lips to my ear, and the night whispers.

Unburden your ardent soul lets steal away
just for awhile; my heartbeats your essence.
On the sweetness of the gale I heard
your spirit sing my name.
Thoughts of vivid dreams promise
lavish memories; abundant and joyful.
I feel the aura of you, wanton and enticing
caressing warmth, the night whispers.
I have pensive visions imposing love
under an indigo sky of jewels sparkling.
Beyond the realms of this universe we fly
as darkness whispers; I love you!

A beautiful write full of wanting and love i truely wish to find a love so good and so strong as that again but i am losing hope i loved this poem and it made me feel all i want in life the imagery was spectacular and it was very moving the love poured from the page great job i loved it i really did

This is such an inticing poem. The way you can tell that the precence is so precious to you! There are no weak spots in the poem and you really explained how it feels to be in love. Your way of wriing is very different then others in a very good way. If you rhymed this poem it would just make it worse. Very good job ^.^ Bravo
