I see face
in silver swirl,
as moon rides wing,
to sliver Venus
in darkest night
and still,
of burrowed beast
where Heaven's breast
feeds sigh,
in symphonies strung long
and all is one in dust of stars
sphere of sun
spins golden lace
upon a dawning dream
to wake as green reply
in misted mornings
chance of fate,
where fades Orion's
belt
to black relief,
bequeathed,
upon a gentle soul
as tide does lick
upon a silken shore
in grains of white
to see my parchment,
placed upon a fresher page
and word is stroke
to brush surrender
in tender hush of lover's kiss
where warm is parted breath,
as river's merge
to join in ocean
and heart's desire
lies
in deeper canvas craved,
of dance in motion
