Mother, I love you.

There's nothing like being held in my mothers arms,
When the tears begin to come.
Nothing like a sloppy kiss,
And some comforting words from mum.
Or when I feel poorly she'll bring me soup and cups of tea.
Place a cold flannel on my head,
And wait until I sleep.
Although sometimes we may argue,
I've even broke her heart.
Screamed at her 'I hate you!'
But we'll never fall apart.
We're Mother and daughter,
But best friends too.
My mother loves me and
Mother, I love you.

There's nothing quite like a mothers love. As a mother I can atest to the fact that our love is unconditional, unyeilding, undieing.
In your poem you say there's nothing like being held in your mothers arms... well, I can tell you, there's nothing like a mother holding her child in her arms, no matter the age of that child.

This is a beautiful tribute to your mother, my dear. I hope she's read it It will truly warm her heart.
