An orchid grows

Missing image
You hide there in the shadows
like an orchid
yet your smile shines through
like sunlight
on a dew drenched leaf.
One day the sky
will know your face
and the wind will sing for you.
Then you shall have
your rightful place
with all the things of beauty.

Picture #1
SummerTimeBlossems
Flower of the sun
know your own beauty
that the tallest tree
will bow to your name.

Canny use of language; real love poetry to melt the heart...even if it is written and inspired by nature's flowers...Lovely write, Poet. And always with the perfect rhythm and flow. Peace to you, Rhonda

    How lovely and exquisite ...

Your work is delicate and leaves me breathless ... Ah. Peter. You are a poet supreme, and your connectivity to nature and its untainted beauty shines through in every poem you write.

Thank you for starting my day with such timeless poetic notifications.

    Love
